Auto Flower versus Photo Flower

I am going to preface this by saying. What I'm about to say might not be for everyone.
You can make auto-flower cannabis seeds through cross-breeding with a Cannabis ruderalis plant or by inducing a female auto-flower to produce pollen. Because the auto-flowering gene is recessive, stabilizing the trait requires multiple generations of selective breeding.
One common method of feminization is to spray female plants with a solution of colloidal silver or gibberellic acid. These chemicals interrupt the plant's natural hormone balance and promote the development of male pollen sacs. The pollen can then be used to pollinate the female buds, creating feminized seeds.
The main difference between photoperiod and auto-flowering strains is how they begin flowering. Photoperiod strains initiate into the flowering stage by the change in the light cycle. Photoperiod strains require 12 hours of un interrupted darkness to flower properly.
With selective breeding all of three can be mixed in a different combinations for niche applications.
Personally I prefer photoperiod flower:
I have full control of when my plant goes into flower.
I can take cuttings of seedlings that do really well and have a consistent product.
Photoperiod strains taste better, are stronger, and produce way more.
Ruderalis cannabis is a low THC. Basically ditch weed.
Photoperiod strains can be grown just as quickly as auto-flower strains with proper light control.
At the end of the day. Grow what you want. I hope you have fun doing so. Comment below with what you prefer and why!
