How do we pick our winners? Is what i would want to know before even looking through the catalogue of strains.

We have accumulated a large genetic library over the last decade of working in the industry. Some of our favorite strains like Durban Poison have a wonderful terpene profile! For the home or commercial grower Durban Poison can be a struggle to get the buds to become dense and fill out. That is where we use pollen from a high yielding strain and make a hybrid. We have a plethora of hybrid strains that smell wonderfully, yield well, and even wash to make wonderful rosin.

We start all of our seeds in house and treat each one exactly the same. They all get organic soil, same amount of tea,

and watered accordingly. 

​

First we look for strong growth & fast rooting. Then we look for how the plant reacts in the stretching phase. Taking note of how the plant structures and grows buds. We then check how long each different one takes to finish. We dry and cure everything the same over the course of 3 weeks. At this point we compare yields of each plant. Once its dried, cured, and ready we test them all to see which ones retained there smell, flavor, structure and overall density. 

 

If the cutting made it this far.

We start over and do it all again making sure none of the things we saw in the first grow cycle was a fluke. When it comes time to finish. We trim all the fan leaves off at this point. Then cut all the buds off without drying and put into bags to be frozen and stored away to be washed.

Each strain and pheno is kept and washed separately. Each wash is done the exact same way to make sure we can check the yield, flavor profile, consistency and color

This process takes us about 6-9 months with each set of seeds we sprout. We are diligent to only pick the very best to make sure when you get one of our cuttings you find success consistently.

For IPM Management we only use soap based non toxic sprays and predatory mites to keep bugs on the run.

We do not use any toxic chemicals during any point of this process.
